What exactly is included in a Plume package?
Accommodations at selected lodges, professional shuttle transfers, and optional expert-led activities (game drives, walks, etc.). Everything coordinated and confirmed in one transaction.
🦁The Travel Experience
Is this a group tour?
No. Your itinerary is private - you choose your dates and companions. You might share a transfer vehicle on similar routes, but you're not traveling with a fixed tour group.
How does a 'shuttle-linked package' work?
Independent travel with professional logistics. We book your accommodations and organize vetted shuttle transfers between them. You follow your own itinerary, traveling safely without driving unfamiliar roads yourself.
Are your circuits rushed?
No - quite the opposite. Our circuits come from our experience on the ground, including leading group tours. A group tour can run a busier programme because a professional guide keeps time from start to finish. Our travelers move between stops by shuttle on fixed schedules and join excursions with local guides, so we build in more margin: several nights at each stop and free time every day - a morning or an afternoon to wander, enjoy the lodge or do nothing at all. Guided excursions let you experience the country through a professional's eyes - we offer them because we believe in local expertise and the value it brings to travelers - but they stay optional: skip them and book on site if you'd rather keep more time for yourself. And a tailor-made trip is always possible: contact us and let's design your dream trip together.
Will I have one guide for the whole trip?
No - and that's an advantage. Instead of one driver-guide, you're guided by resident specialists at each lodge who know their reserves intimately: best spots, animal behaviors, hidden gems.
Can I do a self-drive trip?
Yes, on request. Our circuits are designed around shuttle transfers, so you can enjoy the trip without driving unfamiliar roads. But if you'd rather drive yourself, in Namibia or to Kruger, contact us and we'll organise it for you.
How do activities work?
Optional but seamlessly integrated. Each lodge's own guides conduct them - in open vehicles or on foot. You choose during checkout, and can always add more on-site.

Can I get a custom package?
Absolutely. If our standard itineraries don't match exactly what you need, we build custom packages tailored to your group, dates, and preferences. Email [email protected] with your requirements and we'll design a bespoke trip for you. If you've already been in touch, you can access your custom package from our website.
Can I book at 3am without talking to anyone?
Yes! Browse, check availability, customize, and confirm - any time, day or night. No emails required. Of course, we're happy to chat if you prefer.
What if I need help during my trip?
You're always accompanied by professionals - lodge staff, drivers, guides - who are your first point of contact. Our team is on standby for anything beyond that.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) through our secure system. Full payment at booking, with installment options for larger trips.
What is your cancellation policy?
Refunds follow a fixed schedule based on days before departure: 90+ days 90%, 60-89 days 75%, 30-59 days 50%, 15-29 days 25%, under 15 days 0%. A non-refundable R500 administration fee and bank/gateway fees apply, and supplier penalties may be stricter: you always receive the lower amount.
